Rep Your Colours is a premium sports apparel shopping experience, offering a mix of unique vintage sportswear and top quality current gear.
We developed the business’s online presence facilitating custom jersey and auctionable items on Shopify.
Client Needs
Rep Your Colours offers customized authentic NHL jerseys, memorabilia and clothing for all seven Canadian NHL teams both online and in traditional brick and mortar stores in Vancouver. They wanted an online store that highlighted their great selection of apparel and customization capabilities.

We proposed creating the store on Shopify for easier inventory and order management by their staff and also for the platform’s great product customization capabilities.

Discovery & Design
The first steps in this project involved Hope Media House and Rep Your Colours to determine the style and design of the online store.
As Rep Your Colours provides a wide range of products we needed a Shopify theme that could handle a vast inventory with the ability to highlight the quality of the goods.
Due to the large inventory size, designing an easily navigable menu and organizing products into similar products, such as team location and uniform type (Current, vintage, autographed, etc.) was also a major component of the design process.

Development
Following the selection of the Shopify Theme, organization of the product inventory structure we began the development of the store itself.
Two of the unique features to Rep Your Colours store is the personalization options and auctionable items.
One of the unique options to Rep Your Colours is the ability to customize your jersey with any name, number or jersey patch. We developed a customization form-set that allowed for customers to select from NHL team’s current rosters, or to write their own name and select a number.
For one-of-a-kind memorabilia, Rep Your Colours operate auctions through the Shopify site, setting starting prices, bid minimums, automated messaging and much more.

Product Launch
Prior to the launch of the Rep Your Colours, we assisted in organizing the business details, like provincial taxes, shipping and customer live-chat.
Also setup were ‘Abandoned Cart’ notifications and Member-Login option allowing for Customers to join a mailing list for Rep Your Colours.
Our final step to the product launch was the submission of the store to Google Search Console to ensure Rep Your Colours will be prominently presented to prospective sports gear enthusiasts!
